Mission Love

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

The beautiful object is the Love that we can see and feel. This earthly love is like a love between a mother and her child and comes from the source that is Love. It is a slither of the love that is from the Ultimate Love, God. Through this photograph, I desire to be more loving and selfless. This photograph has made a lasting impact on me because I can feel as if I am there holding the hands of the villager. I can feel all parts of me want to learn about her joy and triumphs. The love I see in this photograph is between one another as a communion of love for one another. There is nothing to gain and there is nothing to be purified because that has already happened by who and what God is and by what we have received from Him after first seeking Him. This love has been found and now cannot be lost. It is a true slither of the Love that comes from God who loves us all.

This is a beautiful post that highlights something that everyone in today’s modern society I feel like is lacking nowadays which is selfless love for a fellow human-being. Love is something that has brought opposing factions together under the veil of commonality and camaraderie for a similar cause. In the photo I feel a sense of love that my not be communicated through vocal language but spiritually through God who is a source that commonly connects each and everyone of us. I feel that throughout our human experience we need to seek a lasting impact by loving thy neighbor as we love thyself and pursuing avenues that can help out other people who just need a hand to get back up from their current struggle.

      Hey Colin,
what a profound elaboration. I thank you so kindly for such a beautiful and completely thoughtful comment. I agree with you entirely over the way we humans are made for compassion and to love one another. We are all here for each other. There is no such thing as only one human on planet earth. We were made to have a soul mate and we were made to connect with every single person on this planet. The more true love we pour out and give to others, the more we feel genuine and pure happiness.
